HP
Also known as: Hit Points and Maximum HP
HP, or Hit Points, is a numerical value that represents the amount of damage a player can receive before death, which occurs at 0 HP. Damage inflicted by attacks, spells, and effects reduces HP (Hit Points) at a 1 to 1 ratio. Thus, a player with more maximum HP will be able to receive more damage before death.
Players can increase their Maximum HP by equipping weapons, armor, and accessories, or socketing Manastones that provide HP bonuses. In addition, Maximum HP can be increased with consumables and certain spells and effects.
Players can restore lost HP with spells and effects, such as the Cleric’s Healing Light. HP can also be restored with consumables such as Life Potions.
Players will regenerate HP both in and out of combat, but when out of combat, players can restore HP at an accelerated rate by resting (type /rest in-game to rest, or hit the comma key [,] using the default key bindings).
The Health attribute, which is one of the six base attributes, affect’s a characters Maximum HP and the speed at which their HP regenerates. The Health attribute is assigned to characters based on their class, and cannot be increased or decreased at the current time.
